The North Shore baseball field got its ceremonial first musical pitch from Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band, on 6th August, 2003.

What to expect at a PNC Park event

Everything about PNC Park is special, from its terrific design to its scenic location. It’s fully equipped for disabled visitors of all kinds, with plentiful and adaptive restroom facilities. It also caters for families and offers quiet spaces for anyone experiencing sensory overload.

PNC Park’s food and beverage concessions are a step up from normal ballgame fare, though you can get this too! While you’re there, try out some hometown specialties like Primanti Brothers sandwiches and Quaker Steak & Lube. You can also get pierogies and pizza, sushi and seafood. Not to mention Manny Sanguillén’s own barbecue grill behind center field. If you’re lucky, you might find Manny still sitting nearby, greeting fans in line, posing for photos and signing autographs.
